Bikini Guide - finding the perfect beach attire... Enjoy!
A few weeks ago Hunkemöller asked me to choose my favorite swimwear model for my upcoming holiday - and let me tell you I was so happy about this opportunity! I had been sneaking around our local Hunkemöller store for weeks looking for the best sale deals in under-, home- and swimwear but I told myself that I am not in the need for another bikini... I stand corrected - you can never have enough swimwear! So, I chose a bandeau top and standard bottom with the most perfect tropical print I have seen in ages! The colorful pattern and the cute pearl detail on the straps makes it my #1 choice for a day at the beach. I went for a size small - both in top and bottom and they're fitting perfectly!

Admit it - who doesn't want to wear a Triangl Bikini? Oh yes, we all want one. Although I never fully got the hype about this type of bikini I can now relate: The fit (I chose XS for both top and bottom) is amazing and it feels like a second skin when swimming! Also, the cut of the model 'milly' and the beautiful, bright turquoise color 'Santa Rosa Splash' is breathtaking and will definitely make you center of interest on the beach or hotel pool... Nevertheless, I personally think it's a bikini made for swimming only and that there are definitely better options when it comes to lying around in the sun for hours of tanning. The neoprene material perfectly works its magic in the water but not in the sun. Make sure to choose a size smaller to enjoy a perfect fit!
This 50's inspired bikini was a gorgeous find at Accessorize last summer and it's been my companion to many beautiful destinations already. The bright turquoise color and the lovely dots already make it an eye catcher but what's my favorite feature about this model is the cute ruffles on both bottom and top. Surely, ruffles only highlight certain parts such as hips and bust; however, I would say they work perfectly for athletic body types and make your skinny body look a little fuller. Get yourself one of these cute 50's bikinis or swimsuits for your personal Marylin moment at the beach!
The last bikini I'd like to show you today is one I found randomly when browsing the swimwear section of a large department store chain. The cute bikini with its outstanding tropical print immediately caught my eye and I was more than happy when my size was still left. It's a rather 'standard' version of a bikini; its top's cut is similar to the one of a regular bra which is nice when you think of all the weird tan lines fancy bikinis can give you... Since the bikini was rather low-priced I decided to just get it. To be quite honest with you it's been the piece of swimwear I've been wearing non-stop this summer. Maybe it'll get a little pause while I am on vacation so all the other gorgeous models get their great performance on the beaches of Mallorca...
I hope you liked my little guide!
Enjoy your summer!
